Comic review-Collection of ONE PIECE-

Hello everyone. Today, I found a nice comic book at a convenience store. It is a collection of ONE PIECEThis is my most favorite comic series. It's a very popular comic series in Japan and many countries. The comic was published volume one to volume seventy five from Shu-Ei Sha. The story is about pirates, but it's not a savage story. There are so many amusing, emotional scenes and exciting battle scenes. I don't know how many times I read it and I was so impressed by this comic.

This collection comic surveyed fans. There were ten episodes that fans answered the survey about, "What's your favorite emotional scenes?", I think it's a nice collection comic, so I bought it immediately.

These scenes are some of the emotional scenes in this collection. I also like them and I was moved to tears even after reading many times. If you don't know these scenes and story, it's not a problem, because there are explanations about the story for each of these scenes. If you know them, you'll be satisfied with the content.

In conclusion, I think, it's a really nice collection for fans. However, some of the scenes explanations are not enough for people to understand if they are not fans, but I really recommend this to everyone! I also recommend to people who are interested in  ONE PIECE, but who don't have enough money to buy the whole comic series. The price is 540 yen, so it's cheaper than buying all the comics that are included in this collection.

Thanks for reading.

Comic review-KICK-ASS-

Hello everyone. Today's topic is a comic book. I like comic books, but I've only read Japanese comic books, so I tried to read a comic book in English. The comic book  is KICK-ASS, whitch is a popular American comic. This series was made into films, so you may know the story, but I didn't know about it. Actually, today's review might have many mistakes, because I tried to read it without a dictionary, so I may have many misunderstanding.

This comic was published in 2008 from Titan Books and the authors are Mark Miller and John Romita Jr.. The story is a superhero story. I thought this comic would have a super hero who has a supernatural power like other superhero comics before I read this comic. However, this is not a common story of a superhero. The outline is, David is a ordinary high school student who is a main character. He really likes superhero comics and he wants to be a superhero and he actually tried to be a superhero, but in reality is different of superhero comics, so he felt down, but he didn't give up, he tried to continues. The other characters also don't actually have supernatural powers, so I was little bit surprised. I felt there were many indecent words and I thought the illustrations were radical representations. I don't care about these representations, but some people may not like them.

I like Hit Girl, who is one of the main characters in this comic. She is only a kid, she's but really strong. She kills so many villains with two swords. I found some a movie trailer on YouTube with scenes of Hit Girl fighting in the film. Please check it.
It's really cool! I want to watch the full movie, so I'm going to go to the video shop one of these days.

In conclusion. I think the setting of story is nice, it's fun. I prefer stories where characters have supernatural powers, but this comic is good. The practical setting is interesting. And fighting scenes are cool, especially the Hit Girl fighting scenes. Mostly it's good, but I can't recommend it to everybody, because the representations are not good for children or people who don't like radical representation.

Thanks for reading.
